| Rumplestiltskin THE REAL STORY!!! by Melina and Krissy Ages 8 and 8 My name is "Rumplestiltskin," and this is the real story of me!!! One day, I was flying on my broom and all of a sudden, I heard someone crying, so I went and I asked the girl, I said, "Hey Kid, so what's the matter?" She told me that the King made her spin all the straw into gold. So then I said I would help her even though she just gave me this stupid old ring, but I'm a nice guy, you know? So I spun the straw into gold for her. The next day, she was weeping about the same thing. This time she gave me this necklace of hers. It was even dumber than the ring she gave me! But I helped her anyway. I'm really a good guy. The next time, she made up this plan that if she doesn't guess my name, I get her baby. It wasn't even my idea! The first day I went by there to see if she knew my name, and she didn't, so she made me give her two more days. I don't know why I let her push me around like that. I'm a nice guy, I guess. Some dumb old maidens of hers came and spied on me when I was singing my name, and the next day, she guessed it. I mean the baby should have been mine because she cheated. Anyway, I was only trying to get the baby because I thought she was an unfit mother. She's the bad guy, not me! Now that's the real story! Oh, and one more thing...since the baby should have been mine, I'll go tell the police the baby was mine and she stole it from me!! Or maybe I'll get a lawyer and sue her! I'm tired of being a nice guy and losing all the time, you know? |
The Adventure of Being an Ant by Kylie Age 8 I am a tiny black ant and I live in a very, very big house. The owner of the house is very old and uses this wooden thing and pounds it on the floor. BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. One time, she almost pounded her stick on me. I decided to find out what the stick is called. So I climbed up on the counter trying to hide because I know what happened to my uncle. She poisoned him. Hiding behind a flower pot, I hear someone say, "I'm so sorry you have to use that cane." Now I must go back to my hideout. Now that we know what it is called, we have to find out what it is used for. Hopefully, not for stomping out ants. So now we try all kinds of different ideas. So I get on the stick and use it like a ride. Once she starts going, I see that it is not so fun. Now I give up. I'll see you next time. |
